JCS Technologies, Inc. to Offer Conference Service Automation System

CSA maximizes automation and delivers ease of use to the customer by integrating all conference service activity into a streamlined business process.

Apollo Beach, FL, March 29, 2004 - JCS Technologies, Inc., custom application developer for the audio conference and web collaboration industry, today announced the development of the Conference Service Automation System (CSA).  CSA is a comprehensive management system providing integration and automation of conference service processes.  The conference center, customer, and moderator realize significant benefits in cost and productivity by utilizing the tools provided by CSA.  The first release of CSA is expected to be available in the 2nd Quarter of 2005.

By integrating off the shelf products JCS is able to provide a familiar, reliable, and robust product for conferencing services to both service bureau and enterprise environments.  The CSA System is built on Microsoft® Small Business Server, a full-featured, multipurpose network operating system that provides e-mail, secure Internet connectivity, business intranets, remote connectivity, support for mobile devices, file and printer sharing, backup and restore capabilities, and an application platform for collaboration. Utilizing the Microsoft® Customer Relationship Management® System shortens sales cycles and improves customer relationships. Integration with Microsoft® Business Solutions–Solomon® provides sophisticated financial functionality and flexible billing scenarios.

JCS products integrate web collaboration and audio conferencing into the business system.  Moderator subscription via a web page off-loads effort from the service center while providing an easy to use tool for the customer.  Automated invoicing, based on service billing records, further reduces resource requirements and improves accuracy in a process that has significant impacts on customer satisfaction.

“A new market for reservationless and web conferencing services has developed as a result of increased demand and the low cost of entry into the market,” said John Svercek, President of JCS Technologies, Inc.  “This market needs low cost, off the shelf business systems and end user tools.  With over ten years experience designing and developing applications for conference equipment manufacturers and service bureaus, we are uniquely qualified to address this market.  CSA is design to meet this demand and fuel the growth of this market.”

The first release of CSA focuses on business systems, eliminating the need for conference centers to develop specialized internal support systems.  The next release, planned for late 2004, will address tools to provide instantaneous conferencing to end-users.
